89, passed Nov. 17, 2014. She was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Versal, Sr. and Addie Oakley.
Betty was a Stenographer for Conrail for over 25 years. She was a longtime member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Betty is survived by her daughters Brenda (Joe) Stout, and Jeanette (Carl) Strohm; grandsons Kevin (Jill) and Kyle (Jessica) Stout, Jason (Megan) , Justin (Allison) and Joshua Strohm.; 8 great grandchildren; brother Versal “Sonny” Oakley, Jr. and sister Billie (Ralph) Harnden. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren Grimme; son Brian Grimme; and sister Patricia Cathey.
Visitation will be Friday Nov. 21st from 5:00-8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd. Indpls, IN 46237. Funeral Services will be Saturday Nov. 22nd at Noon at Calvary Lutheran Church 6111 S. Shelby St. Indpls, IN 46227 with visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial Concordia Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church.
