Betty Jayne Whitlow, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at her home. She was born December 15, 1940 in Indianapolis to the late Robert Lee Collins and Ruth Dean Plummer. She is also preceded in death by her son, Marc David Whitlow; aunt, Betty Crist; and brother, James Plummer. Betty was a member of White River Yacht Club, where she also served, bartended, and at times even cooked. She was also a member of the American Legion.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Kenneth Whitlow; daughters, Teri Lynn Whitlow Langley and Marilyn “DeeDee” Hoffman Peters (Donald); brothers, Danny, Larry, and Donald Pierson; 3 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E 71st St., Indianapolis, IN 46220. Her Committal Service will be held 12:30 pm Saturday at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana.
