Beverly Jean Powell

Beverly attended St. Mary School and Crispus Attucks High School, later earning her high school diploma from George Washington High School in 1983. She dedicated over 30 years of service as a pharmacy technician at the V.A. Hospital, where she was known for her hard work and compassion.

In her free time, Beverly enjoyed reading, bowling, skating, and swimming. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren, who loved her dearly. Beverly had a generous spirit and a kind heart, always willing to help anyone in need. She was deeply loved by those who knew her and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her sons, Gerald E. Powell and David T. Powell, and her brother, Patrick Elliott.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Dana M. Legge (Scott Sr.), and her son, Brian S. Powell; 12 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
