Billie Jean Law Kehl

70, of Indianapolis, left this world on September 9, 2010. She was born on July 26, 1940 in Franklin, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Oscar and Mayzelle (Payne) Law. She was a member of the Irvington United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and did volunteer work at Hawthorne Elementary School and served as the volunteer coordinator for the PTA until this year when she had to curtail her efforts due to health reasons. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather James Holman and her sister Shirley Carr. Billie is survived by her children Gregory Franklin (Lisa) Kehl of Bedford, Texas, and Scott Thomas (Susan) Kehl of Fishers, Indiana, sister Dolores Duffy of Indianapolis, grandchildren James, Kody, Megan and Colleen Kehl, nephew James Carr of Raeford, North Carolina and beloved grand dog Buffin. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 11 at 3 PM at the Irvington United Methodist Church, 30 North Audubon Road, with the family receiving friends following the service.
