Brandon Day

Brandon Day, age 46, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday September 1, 2018. Brandon was born August 3, 1972 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Jacqueline (Stephen) Waltman and Richard (Cynthia) Day. Brandon was an outgoing individual with determination in his heart. In his early years, Brandon would play football, wrestling, and enjoy his years in college at IU to which he and his family were proud during his graduation. Brandon had a love for animals to which, in his life, he had quite a few as they were all members of the family. Later on in life, Brandon would find Amber, the love of his life, and they would spend over 16 years together raising their children. Brandon would enjoy coaching football with his sons, The Miami Dolphins, buying copious amounts of fireworks during the 4th of July, 4 wheeling, riding on his motorcycle, brewing beer with his friend Paul, woodworking, and the farmhouse he loved. There wasn't a person, who within only knowing him for a few minutes, that wouldn't become his friend immediately. William Feather once said "One way to get the most out of life is to look upon it as an adventure." Brandon's life was filled with adventures, stories, love, dreams, and accomplishments that could fill a library. Brandon is survived by his wife, Amber Day; son Jacob Day; son Nathaniel Day; and son Cullen Cook; mother Jacqueline (Stephen) Waltman and father Richard (Cynthia) Day; brother Ryan (Jolie) Day, brother Lance (Kristinia) Waltman and brother Adam (Destiny) Day. A visitation for Brandon will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237. A burial will occur Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Orchard Hill Cemetery, Wanamaker, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Brandon's memory may be made to The Sons of Brandon Day College Fund.
