Brenda Sue Holstine-Curry

Brenda was born December 2, 1943 in Sonora, KY, the daughter of the late Woodrow & Ora (Sharp) Pile. She spent most of the early years of her life in Breckinridge County, KY, before moving to Indiana in 1967.

Brenda retired from Thompson Consumer Electronics as Benefits Manager and later served as V.P. of T.C.E. retiree's group. She was a member of North United Methodist Church where she was a greeter and served on the SPRC. She was a member of Southern Star & Custer O&S, and President of Broadmoor Neighborhood Association.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and two infant brothers, Robert & Charles.

Brenda is survived by her husband Richard Lee Curry, Sr., who was the love of her life for 28 years, a daughter Rebecca (Mark) Davidson and her children Sam (Kim) & Hannah, and great-granddaughter Sadie Brook. She is also survived by step-children Richard, Jr. (Kimberly), Ricky (Cynthia), and Joy. She is also survived by sister Dolores Pile Triplett and her children Scott (Theresa) & Kevin who loved Brenda as their second mom, their children, and grandchildren.

Visitation: Monday, November 17, 2014 from 10am - 12noon

Funeral: Monday, November 17, 2014 12noon

All to be held within North United Methodist Church, Indianapolis

Celebration of Life will be at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, KY, at 11am with burial following in Custer Cemetery, Custer, KY.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fuel the Hope @ St. Vincent or to North United Methodist Church.
