Bruce Groff Morris

Bruce was a life long farmer in Franklin Twp. and a Franklin Twp. school bus driver for many years. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in agriculture and was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. Bruce was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church for 74 yrs.

Bruce married Opal Smith in 1945. She preceded him in death in 1958. He met and married Helen Taylor and she preceded him in death in 1992.

Bruce is survived by his daughter Ruth Ann(husband Harold)Mills, his grand children; Ralanda(husband Bob)Whitaker,Rebecca(husband Doug) Chaszar, and three great-grand children; Logan, Audrey and Luke Chaszar.

He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Nettie Morris and his son David B. Morris.

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 4-8 pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Wed. April 28, 2010 at 11:30 at New Bethel Baptist Church, Wanamaker, IN. Burial will be in Orchard Hill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to New Bethel Baptist Church.
