Carol E. Fisher, 84, passed away June 29 at her home. She was born January 9, 1935 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Harold and Burnis (Parrish) West. Carol was a 1952 graduate of Warren Central High School. During the following year she would become a wife and mother.
She was a loving and nurturing mother to her three sons. After the boys were raised, she went on to highly successful careers in floral and interior decorating, working for McNamara Florists and JC Penney, as well as owning her own business, Flowers Forever. Carol was an avid card player and voracious reader. She was a longtime member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, Kim Fisher. Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Donald M. Fisher, Sr.; her children Donald, Jr., (Paula), John Fisher, and Robert Fisher and her brother, Timothy West (Sheryl). She will be greatly missed by her six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Little & Sons, 4901 E. Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. Carol's memorial service will follow immediately at 4 p.m.
