Carol Ann Pickett

76, of Carmel, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2012 after a five year struggle with Lewy Body Dementia. She was born July 29, 1936 to Orville and Clara Roembke and a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in 1954. She married Donald V. Pickett on June 25, 1955 and he survives, along with four children: Mike (Jennifer) Pickett, Joan (Dan) Ehman, Mark (Wendy) Pickett and Kevin (Jennifer) Pickett, 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Linda Yorger and Patty Cardwell and two brothers: Jerry and Dennis Roembke. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Charles Roembke. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Carol’s family would like to extend its most sincere appreciation to the staff of the Sheridan Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the excellent care they provided in her final years.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 12th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary and Monday, August 13th, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 13th in St. Pius X Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church.
