Carole Mumm Pennell

77, of Indianapolis, passed away May 3, 2012. Carole was born April 8, 1935 in Columbus, OH to Harry and Mary (Sherman) Mumm. She attended the Ohio State University and was a long time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years: Gerard “Gary” Pennell and sister: Joan Throndenson. Carole is survived by her children: Chuck (June) Pennell, Vickie (Phil) Bastnagel, Lisa (Paul) Sherer, Linda Pennell and Michael Pennell, brother: Bill (Marcia) Mumm, grandchildren: Dan (Anna) Cage, Greg Cage, Brittany, Ramiro, Lucia, Alex and Mia Bastnagel, Josh and Casey Pennell, Erin Pennell, Jack Sherer and great-grandsons: Aedan Pennell and Zach Bender. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 12, 10:00 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church with visitation there one hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary.
