

Carolyn Ann Mueller, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on June 16, 1938 in Indianapolis to John and Helen Roach. She was married to John Mueller for 52 years, and they had eight children.
Carolyn lived a life of faith, love, and service. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church for over 60 years. Carolyn was involved in many ministries during that time, including the Christ the King School Board for over 20 years as well as the Parish Council for four years. She found joy in supporting and helping others and was a Eucharistic Minister, led rosary at funeral wakes, and organized peace meals. She was president of the service league and spent many years organizing the parish festival as well as volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul.
She is survived by her children Nancy Mueller, Barbara Cable, Linda (Kevin) Zerr, Mary (George) Dremonas, Susie LaFrance, Michele Jones, John (Lisa) Mueller and Jim (Patty) Mueller; 16 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren . She is preceded in death by her husband, John Mueller.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5858 Crittenden Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220. A visitation will be held preceding the mass at Christ the King Catholic Church starting at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
