Carys was born on April 30, 2009, to Chris and Tanya in Atlanta, GA. She was a senior at Cambridge High School where she was an exceptional scholar skilled in mathematics and chemistry, intending to pursue Chemical Engineering. At CHS Carys was also a member of the Cross-Country team. She participated in FBLA and DECA clubs where she won numerous state competitions and competed nationally.
Carys was a kind, diligent and reliable young woman. She worked as a lifeguard in addition to excelling at school. Carys treasured her friendships and especially loved going on a hike or to a great concert with friends. Her two favorite things were a great cruise and a good beach. She was an avid board and card game player, and relished defeating anyone who challenged her.
Carys’ memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. She is deeply loved by her parents Chris and Tanya Green, her siblings Sydney Green, Kaden Cotteral, and Christopher Green II, numerous aunts/great aunts, uncles/great uncles, and cousins.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carys’ honor to St. Jude’s Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House.
