Charles Edward Abel

Charles Edward Abel affectionately known to may as "Catfish" at the age of 69, passed and is now in his Heavenly Father's arms ,Tuesday, January 15, 2019.Charles was born December 15, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to his proud parents Harry Earl & Nettie "Frances" DeJournett Abel.Charles was a fisherman it was his true passion. He was nicked named "Catfsh" because he could swim like a fish and taught many of his nieces and nephews to swim. He was a master of the fishing rod he could charm the catfish out of the water. Charles loved his family, he was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. Charles was a good man, a family man, a loving man that will be missed by all who knew him. The famous words Charlesalwaysstated and he lived by "I AM ABEL"Charles is preceded in death by his wife Ercie Abel and parents.Charles leaves to cherish his memories sons, Nathaniel Williams (Michelle) and Corey Abel; daughters Andria Abel, LaTonya Williams and Jenetria Dardy; brothers Harry Jr., George, Johnny Trent, Dennis (Joyce) and Eric Abel; sisters Rosemary Abel and Valerie Abel Wells (Robert), 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & many friends.
