Charles Henry Green Sr.

Charles Henry Green Sr., age 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Charles was born November 2, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Henry Green and Ida Louise Wooden. He was also preceded in death by his two wives, Gladys Green and Helen Green; mother, Ida Louise Wooden; and three brothers, Robert Green, Stephen Tyler, and Ernest Green Sr. One special friend, Dawnielle Sweet.

Charles worked at Link Belt for more than 20+ years. Charles enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved to travel and take care of his family.

Charles is survived by his three loving children, Charles Green Jr. (Ypsi), Janel Green, Contina Mathis (Gregory); grandchildren, Timothy Curry (Destiny), Roosevelt Ellis, Jakari Green, Thia Pate, Charita Green, Gladyce Green, Journi Green, and Nevaeh Ash; two loving brothers, Patrick Green and Dennis “Michael” Green; one beautiful sister, Janet Smith. Three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Charles will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219, followed by his Funeral Service at 12:00 PM with burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
