

Charlotte Marie Wiggins answered the call of her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 28, 2025, 5:13 p.m., at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah, Kentucky. Charlotte began her life’s journey with her loving and devoted parents, the late Alton Cletus Wiggins and the late Elsie Marie Fields Wiggins in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 13, 1965. At the time of her transition, she had been granted 60 years, 1 month and 15 days of life.
At an early age Charlotte accepted Christ and was baptized at Greater Morning Star Church, in Indianapolis, IN. Charlotte turned her life over to the Lord and served him filled with the Holy Spirit at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah, Kentucky, where she was a devoted member and was willing to serve in any capacity under the Spiritual guidance of Reverend Michael Wade, her pastor. She served on the culinary committee and the committee for the church billboard sign.
Charlotte was a loving homemaker who was a joyful person around whomever she came in contact. In her younger years, she enjoyed skating, singing and dancing which she still enjoyed in her later years. Charlotte was thrilled spending time with her family whom she dearly loved. From time to time, she kept the family in stitches with her sense of humor. They would often tell her she needed to be a comedian.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Steve Wiggins; her paternal grandparents, Lee and Ruth Wiggins; and her maternal grandparents, Charles B. and Effie Fields.
Charlotte leaves to mourn her passing, her Life Partner of 21 Years, David Mitchell and her Siblings, Ann (Gulliver “Dee”) Darden of Indianapolis, IN, Charles “Ben” (Alma) Fisher of Antioch, CA, Shirley Peters, Glynn (Debi) Fisher, Jr., Janet (Dannie) Reid and Gale Fisher, all of Indianapolis, IN, and Sandra (Paul) Johnson of Conyers, GA, Rosalee (Thomas) Nolan and Carolyn Mahome, both of Newbern, TN; her Special Uncle, John (Evelyn) Wiggins of Cordele, GA ; a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends; and her Special Friends, Monica Harris and Carol Woods.
