Cheryl Marie Dinn, 76, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born to Catherine (Corydon) and Robert E. Dinn on July 18, 1947. Cheryl was baptized at St. Philip Neri, attended Christ the King grade school and graduated from Our Lady of Grace High School.
Cheryl went on to work at Flea Markets, primarily Irvington and Liberty Bell for over 30 years, designing jewelry and was also a telemarketer extraordinaire. She was a devoted parishioner at Holy Spirit Catholic Church for over 40 years. Her life was full with many friendships that included her dinner and lunch companions, as well as her church and flea market community.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Catherine Dinn and Robert E. Dinn; sister, Connie Cooley (Ray); brother-in-law Hugh B. Smith; and stepmother, June Ann (Turner) Dinn. She is survived by sisters Catherine “Cathy” Smith and Diane (Joe) VandeBosche; brothers, Robert E. Dinn, Larry (Pauline) Turner, Fred (Nicole) Turner, and John (Kelly) Turner; nephews, David (Heather) Smith, Joseph S. Smith, and Robert E. (Mandy) Dinn; nieces, Amelia and Catherine Dinn; great-nieces, Caroline, Charley, Trista and Kalli; and great-nephews, Emmett, Terry and Dylan.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46219. A Mass will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46219. Cheryl will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery following Mass.
