

Chris was a very hard-working and devoted employee of 17 plus years at St. Vincent’s Hospital as a Special Deputy Sheriff. He was a gentle giant with an infectious smile and huge heart. Chris never met a stranger and made everyone in his presence feel welcomed.
Chris was a true dog lover and an adamant Colts fan. He will be missed, loved and remembered by all that were honored to know him. Chris was a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa and friend.
Chris is preceding in death by his parents, Thomas and Dorothy Thompson and brother, Larry Thompson. He leaves to cherish and hold on to his memories, the love of his life was together 14 years and then married for 12 years, altogether 26 years, Gloria Thompson, his sweet daughter, April Thompson, step-children; Amando and Monique Williams, Gloria Neely, Deryck White, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 7 sisters; Thomas Bridges, Shirley Crosby, Carolyn Patterson, Darlene McCaskel, Geralene Ray, Doroethea Watson, Janette Sanders, Obie Thompson, Armanda Johnson, 6 brothers; Danny Thompson, Derrick Thompson, Charles Thompson, Fred-die Thompson, Germaine Thompson, Marcus Thompson, mother-in-law, Gloria Ann Fleming, best friend, Ronald Reedus Jr., along with a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. A special acknowledge to his sister-in-law; Soyna Fleming, Mary Boswell and his St. Vincent’s family.
