Christa R. Maywald Hittesdorf lived a full life as a Daughter, Mother, Military Wife, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother. But best of all, she lived life as “Omi” to the entire 5 generation family.
Christa was born in Berlin, Germany on December 15th, 1927, and passed away on April 5th, 2025. She survived the bombing of Berlin during WWII.
Christa and her son, Michael, immigrated to America in June of 1952 as a military wife and dependent. She and her husband, Richard, followed her son to Indianapolis in 1986.
Christa was predeceased by her husband and one great grandchild.
She is survived by her son, Michael, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held for Christa on May 5th, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 10655 Haverstick Rd, Carmel, IN 46033.
