Christopher Lee McClellen, 52, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on June 22, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN.
Family Visitation will be 10am-11am Saturday September 3, 2022 at Feeney & Hornak Funeral Home 1307 N Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, In. Open visitation will follow 11am-1p at the same location.
Funeral services will follow visitations from 1pm-4pm with Pastor Rick Faye of Calvary Fellowship Church officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life Dinner in Honor of Chris at 5pm after the service at Little Flower Catholic School Cafeteria, 1401 N. Bosart Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46201.

Chris McClellen was born in Indianapolis, IN to Bernard & Janice McClellen on April 6, 1970. He was married to David J. McKallip for 23 years. He attended Warren Central High School, Class of 1989. He worked as a Server and Trainer starting in 1986 for Skyline Chili. He spent 8 years with Owens & Minor as a Shipping Supervisor, before returning to serving & training until 2018.
Chris started Bowling on a High School, summer Bowling League at 16 in 1986. He went on to play on multiple Bowling Leagues for 34 years and traveled the US competing in 100’s of Bowling Tournaments; He was pretty good and always made it more fun for everyone. He was a gifted and talented artist, this was his first Love! He won a national art contest in 1987 at 17, that his sister secretly entered him in; resulting in a 4 year full Art Scholarship. Thousands of his art pieces are in homes across the world as he gave many as gifts or donated them as prizes for Charities. His art was showcased in an Art Gallery in Greenfield, IN with over 500 pieces displayed and/or for sale. He became best known for his unique and abstract style and skill with Dots over the years.
Chris is survived by his Husband David J. McKallip; Father Mac McClellen-Hizer; 2 Sisters, Kimba McClellen, Tammy Sgro-McClellen; 2 Brothers, BJ McClellen, Shane Lynch; Brother-In-Law Dan Ratz Sister-In-Laws Aimee Lynch, Angela McClellen; Mother-In-Law Bernadine McKallip, Sister-In-Law Maureen Hurd-McKallip; 3 Brother-In-Laws Ronald McKallip, Thomas McKallip and Stephen McKallip, 4 Nieces; 12 Nephews, 6 Great Nieces and 8 Great Nephews
