Clara Louise Rogers

Clara Louise Rogers, age 84, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Clara was born September 5, 1937 to the late Alonzo and Ruth (Rayer) Duckworth. Clara graduated from Broad Ripple High School. Clara married Clarence Rogers. Clarence was in the U.S. Navy and Clara was a military wife, traveling all over the states with her husband and children.

Clara was a natural caregiver and spent most of her life caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved attending her grandchildren's sporting activities. Clara also loved playing bingo. She spent the last 10 years in Florida with her brother and niece, until she decided to come back home to Indiana about a year ago. Clara will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Clara is survived by her daughters, Ruth Keenan; grandchildren, Tina, Tommy, Jeremy, Frankie and Zamien; brother, Elmer; and many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; parents, Alonzo and Ruth; son, Steven; daughters, Kathy and Liza; and several siblings.
