Clarval Black, age 100, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021. Clarval was born January 20, 1921, in Hominy, Oklahoma, to the late James and Girtie Black. Clarval was an Army Veteran and fought in WWII. He also worked for General Motors for over 40 years. He loved to hunt with his sons and spend time with his family.
Clarval is survived by his loving wife of 75 years; Mary Frances Black, children; Leanne (Darrell) Peyton and Jim Black, daughter-in-law; Diane Black, along with 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Clarval is preceded in death by his children; William Lee Black, Robert Black and Linda Carol Knowles.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
