CLINTON JONES was born on October 4, 1945, to Lelar May Jones and Willie Jones in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He retired from Dialysis Vascular and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
CLINTON attended School 32 and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School.
CLINTON JONES was a devoted family man whose love for his children and relatives shone brightly in everything he did. Known for his infectious laughter and magnetic personality, Clinton was truly the life of the party— always ready with a joke, a dance move, or a warm smile. His deep love for music and dancing was matched only by his passion for the outdoors and the joy he found in riding his bike. A tireless worker and a friend to many, Clinton’s vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone he met. Whether he was out enjoying nature, connecting with friends, or simply making those around him laugh, Clinton lived each day with energy, generosity, and heart. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
CLINTON passed away on Friday June 20, 2025, at the age of 79. He is preceded in death by his parents Lelar May Jones and Willie Jones, Siblings Robert Lee Jones, Fannie Wilson, Irene Collins, Willie Jones Jr, Josie Lee Springer, Elvira Jones
CLINTON is survived by life partner Anita Taylor, his sons Kenneth Jones and Jamieon Jones, grandchildren; JaJuan Guzman, Kenneisha Jones, Kentwan Jones, LaKesha Swanson, Vanilla Jones, Jamieon Jones Jr., Mijae Jones, Marajana Jones, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.
A visitation for Clinton will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
