Dan A. Montgomery was born in Pontiac, Michigan on February 26,1935, and passed away in Marquette, Michigan on October 23, 2023. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Maxine Ann (Utecht) Montgomery, who passed away in 2019. They resided in Indianapolis for their last 43 years together.
Dan leaves behind one son, Mark (Dixie) Montgomery, of Vandalia, Ohio. Dan is also survived by one daughter, Karen (David) Montgomery Stasiak, residing in Marquette, Michigan.
He is also survived by four grandsons: Tyler (Amanda) Montgomery, and their children: Addisyn, Tessly, and Tristan, who reside in Centerville, Ohio; Kyle Montgomery and his daughter, Rylee, who reside in Vandalia, Ohio; Cody Stasiak, in Hazel Park, Michigan; and Danny (Caitlin) Stasiak and son, Ryder, in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
