In Loving Memory of Dan

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Ferguson, a loving husband, devoted family man, and a friend to so many. After a long and courageous journey following a life-changing injury, Dan passed away peacefully Saturday, September 12, 2026 with his wife Christy by his side.

Dan was a strong, determined man who faced every challenge put in front of him with incredible courage. Even when life changed in ways none of us could have imagined, he continued to fight, adapt, and find reasons to keep going. His strength touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, his stubborn determination, and the love he had for the people and animals who were part of his life. He especially cherished his family, his little dog, and his cat.

Dan leaves behind his beloved wife, Christy, who stood faithfully by his side through every chapter of their life together, as well as his step daughter Hayley Moore (Zach Rhoda), his son Danny Ferguson, and his daughter Angelica (Matt) Rideour, a brother Terry (Laney) Ferguson, extended family, and many friends who will carry his memory with them.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Lula Belle and Daniel, as well as his younger brother, Don.

His absence leaves a hole that can never truly be filled. But the love he gave, the memories he created, and the lives he touched will remain forever.

Rest peacefully, Dan. You fought so hard. You are loved more than words can ever say, and you will never be forgotten. ❤️

Funeral/memorial arrangements: Cremation has taken place and Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
