David Earl Eiler

David E. Eiler, 61, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord at 2:18pm Thursday, January 20, 2022. He was born on April 24, 1960 in Kokomo, IN to Earl W. Eiler and Mary E. Eiler (Overfield). He married Susie Gibson on September 6, 2014, and she preceded him in death February 13, 2019. David graduated from Eastern High School in May 1979. He attended Free Gospel Bible Institute, where he met his former wife, and mother to his children Connie Eiler. He became a nurse's aid at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton, Indiana before starting his career in truck driving. David shared his love for God through music and song, and played the piano for many years. He loved the Lord, his family, and his dog Teddy. David was loved by many, will be missed by many, and had an impact on many. Surviving family include his son Benjamin (Ashley), Brother Stephen (Michelle), Nephews Joe (Tisha) and Daniel. Niece Sarah (Justin), Step Children Linda and Mike. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife (Susie), Son (Christopher), and brother (Daniel) A visitation for David will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, with a celebration of life at 6:00 PM.
