I can not think of any one more deserving to be at peace. You taught me so much about what it means to be a kind human being. We think about you every day Uncle David.

Dave was a friend that anyone would have cherished. As his skiing buddies always did. He always thought of others first, listened first and very well, smiled the fastest, and mostly Dave loved to laugh. We skiing buddies and I were blessed to call him our best friend. Dave will be missed more than words can ever say. Dave we loved you, I know you will get your wings, many friends, family, and others are going to be very lucky to have someone like you up above looking out for us. We all knew how close to perfect you were, or someone could ever be, and God had always known, even when sometimes you wandered if you were not. You were, now God can help you to see it everyday, like we all did

The Huntington family is loved and respected by so many; David's sweet, gentle nature was a testament to growing up in such a supportive, loving family. Bob & Buzzy, you've always been great positive role models.  Lynn & Jimmy, you are strong, generous, dedicated and endlessly loving.  David was blessed to have you all to share his time on this earth.  You're in our hearts  & prayers.

Our hearts go out to you with the sudden loss of your son and brother.  Jim, the eulogy you gave today was from your heart, and made me feel as though I knew your brother.  I know all of you will miss him, and in time you will be able to feel grateful for the time you had him on this earth, instead of the years ahead that you won't have him. Although I hung out with Dave over 35 years ago, I really did not get to know him until the last 18 months.  During my first visit at his house he seemed a little nervous.  By the end of our project we were sitting on the sofa very much at ease, him showing me all the wonderful things his new TV would do.  It really put a smile on my face anytime I would go over to his house he would kind of shake his head, smile and tell me how he still couldn't believe the transformation of his house.
Dave was the kindest, gentlest man I have ever known.  David became my friend. I will truly miss him. 
I know he is at peace in a happier place now.

On a closing note that boy could sure send a long text message!!!  And a lot of them!!!  

Hope the Angles in Heaven have a bunch of cat 5 computer wire.  They're  going to need it!

David was so unique: generous to a fault, as honest and trustworthy as a person can be, gentle and thoughtful, a terrific mentor and guide, and I am fortunate that I could call him a friend. His gentleness made him a man with a truly great soul. I will always remember his hearty laughter and the joy he found in solving a problem. I miss him terribly.
