Deacon Perry Maurice Woods 88 of Indianapolis passed away Wed., May 16, 2012. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Chevrolet Truck & Bus in 1988 after 30 years of service. He was member of Puritan Missionary Baptist Church. Survived by wife, Serene Woods; sister, Ruth Brown; daughters, Shirley A. (Bruce) Armstrong, Terry L. Bradley, Charlene J. Grayson, Sharon M. Montgomery, Frances A. Montgomery, Sandra L. Montgomery and Toni M. Montgomery; sons, Steven M. (Cherilyn) Woods, Stanley C. Woods, John L. Montgomery and Robert A. (Reese)Montgomery; 34 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Tues. May 22, 2012 12:00 p.m. at Puritan M. B. C., 872 W. 27th St. with calling from 10:00 a.m. until time of service, Interment, Crown Hill Cemetery Field of Valor. Arrangements entrusted to Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home 5252 East 38th.
