Deacon Robert L. Groves, 77, Indianapolis, passed away on March 22, 2016. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired as a Group Leader from United Technologies. He was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where he was on the Deacon Board, Male Chorus, Food Pantry, Usher and Culinary Ministries. Deacon Groves leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, loving wife, Martha Groves; son, Robert “Darrell” Groves (Sha) and daughter, Pamela L. Groves-Dixon; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, Church family and a host of extended and loving family and friends. The visitation is Friday, March 25, 2016, 4pm – 8pm, a second visitation is Saturday, March 26, 2016, 9am – 11am, with the Homegoing Service at 11am, all at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. The interment will immediately follow in Washington Park North Cemetery.
