To Chattaun and Grands and Great Grands; to sisters and brothers of our Beloved Deborah Edmonds Cook.  I can barely get past shaking my head in disbelief at the passing of my cousin, Deborah.  So many memories for so many years together...from living together as children, to remembering the Christmas in 1967 just after Taunnie was born.  Deborah was at the house on 33rd and Park sitting on the sofa in a blue dress and black window  pane hose; with her hair in an "updo" that was so popular back then.  Taunnie was on a blanket with her big bright eyes just looking around.  I was expecting  my "Aunnie" who later became Taunnie's "partner."  There they were Taunnie and Aunnie....swinging side by side at the little park area near Aunt Marilyn's house.  Preschool was across the street at that large church on Fall Creek Parkway, Broadway Christian Church,  I think it was. Deborah went to high school and later to Beauty College and became a licensed cosmetologist..  She worked many years at Myrtie's on Central and later at "Gifted Touch" on East 52nd Street.  She did the kids hair, and later did Bree's hair.  We learned to crochet together except Deborah continued crocheting and I forgot how.  I couldn't crochet a square now if you paid me. Like I said, so many memories.  I am sure I could type for the rest of the night and still not finish. Skating at St. Rita on Sunday night...Deborah as a blond at the laundromat and watching some older ladies from another country keep looking at Deborah and her blond hair...Memories of Vance, Jeanie, Lynn, Yvette, Kim, Ray and Renee, Keithie, and Duckie..Not in that order...Family Reunions at one park or another or St. Rita Catholic Church...On and on and on...I must stop because I can never quit!!!
God, I look forward to what You said... "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor  crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."  Rev 21:4
