Deborah Dominguez

54, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 20, 2014. Debbie was a 1982 graduate of Purdue University, where she received her B.A in Elementary Education with kindergarten endorsement, a graduate endorsement in English as a Second Language from the University of Houston and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Jones International University in Colorado, along with extensive advanced academic training in gifted curriculum, math, language and media. Her teaching career began in Houston, TX. After moving back to Indianapolis in 1990, Debbie taught for 1 year at Indianapolis Public Schools before being hired at Park Tudor School, where she taught fourth grade for six years after which she became Director of the Hilbert Early Education Center and Director of the Lower School. Debbie was in her 24th year at Park Tudor. Debbie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Bob Dominguez; adoring children, Erin, Katie Scheidler (James Scheidler), Bailey, and Antonio; best friend and mother, Donna O'Donnell; brother, Kevin O'Donnell and a number of relatives in the Waldron, O'Donnell, O'Hara and McGlinn families. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Charles (Chuck) O'Donnell. A Memorial Mass will be held this Saturday, September 27 at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church immediately followed by Celebration of Life in her honor at Noon in Park Tudor School.
