Delores Hayes

She was born July 30, 1952 and passed away on October 13, 2025. She leaves us to go be with her mother Ellen Draper and her father William Hayes. She was born in Huntsville Alabama but was raised in Indianapolis by her Aunt True Love Henderson and was raised with her cousin's. She attended Crispus Attucks High school but never graduated. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She worked at Goodwill Industries for most of her working life and was also a traffic guard for Joyce Kilmer School 69.

She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters Carla Shaw and Sandra (Shaw) Hayes also 16 grandkids and 12 great grandkids with a host of cousins, family and friends.

I guess Granny finally answered the phone! Momma we love you and can't wait to see you again in the home you've made for us. Keep your prayers alive and enjoy your pain free life you deserve it. We love you.

An inurnment service is scheduled to take place on November 5, 2025, at 10:00 am at Crown Hill Cemetery, located at 700 W 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208, United States with a repass to follow in Celebration Hall.
