Delores Marie Mosley

Delores was born in Indianapolis, IN to parents Jackson Weathers and Courtney Sholar Weathers on January 1, 1938.

Delores accepted Jesus Christ at an early age.

She attended John Hope #26 elementary school and Crispus Attucks High School. She completed the required training at cosmetology school and became a licensed beautician.

She also worked at the Indiana School for the Deaf and retired after 30 years of service.

She liked to spend her time reading, watching TV and doing word search puzzles.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents (Jackson and Courtney), brothers (George Walker and Lawrence Weathers) and sisters (Mary Parrot and Virginia Johnson).

She leaves to cherish her memories her children (Mark Mosley, Elaina (Collins) Fields and Lawrence Mosley). Her grandchildren (Marshall Jr. and Christopher). Her great-grandchildren (Tierra, Trevon, Dejsha and Mareon). Her great-great grandchild (Ka’riah) and a host of family members and friends.

A graveside service for Delores will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 W 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
