Donald Ray Hotze

Donald Ray Hotze, 88 passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012. He was born in Acton, Indiana to the late Eugene Hotze and Nancy Ellis Hotze.Don “Pappy” graduated from Franklin Township High School in 1941 and was a Phi Delta Theta at Butler University. He was a cheerleader at Franklin Township. He had a 7-UP distribution route for over two decades. He retired as a salesman from Huntington Laboratories at the age of 72. He was a member of Acton United Methodist Church.

Don was preceded in death by his loving wife Helen Lawrence Hotze in 1997. He is survived by his daughter Sherri Hotze Birk, granddaughters; Danyell Scott Wiley and Toniya Scott Waterman and three great grandchildren; Gianna Waterman, Delilah Waterman and Ella Wiley. Don is also survived by his sister Myra Hotze Carpenter and sister-in-law Janet Lawrence Kehrt.

A celebration of Don’s life will be on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. all in Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Acton United Methodist Church Don Hotze Memorial.Friends may share online condolences at www.littleandsonsindianapolis.com.
