Donald M Muncie

92, passed away Aug. 9, 2013. He was born in Brazil, IN to the late Elmer and Anna Muncie.

Don retired as a Tool & Die Maker from Ford Motor Co. after over 25 years. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. After retirement he was a Volunteer for the Indiana State Museum, and an active member of many Senior Citizen Groups. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes and Holy Name Catholic Churches; Knights of Columbus 4th Degree; a Eucharistic Minister for Holy Name; a volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul. Donald was awarded the August W. “Gus” Seyfried award for 2013 by the Holy Name Men’s Club.

He is survived by his daughters Rita (Arch Currie) Muncie, and Barbara (Tom) Helt; stepchildren John (Susie) Teagardin, Jane (John) Burgess, Ann (Bob) Decker, and Therese (Peter) Koers; 13 Grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and brother Paul Muncie.

Donald was preceded in death by his wives Anna Muncie and Helen Marie Muncie; and brothers Merwin, Frank, and Bernard Muncie.

Visitation will be held Monday Aug. 12th from 2:00-8:00PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46237. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday Aug. 13th at 10:00 AM in Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Name Catholic Church.
