Donald Perry Swetnam

59, of Indianapolis died March 27, 2016. Don was born May 7, 1956 in West Palm Beach, FL to the late Donald S. Swetnam and Vivian L. (Knox) Swetnam. He was a member of Drexel Gardens Church. Don worked in the HVAC business and was accomplished at fixing anything that you could throw at him. Don was a free spirit, he had a wonderful sense of humor and constantly kept his family and friends on their toes. He loved anything to do with the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He had the eye and nerves of a master marksman, and never shot anything he wouldn’t eat. Don loved his Indianapolis Colts and never missed a game.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Branam. He is survived by his life partner, Betty Lox; his daughters, Jill and Jessica Swetnam; sisters, Carolyn Williams, Diana O’Graddy, Eileen Baker and twin sister, Donna Magner; grandchildren, Brittany Rose Garrett, Marty Gibson, Jr., Jordan Gibson, Destiny Garrett, Deborah Gibson and Trinity Garrett; 3 stepchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 1 great step-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews and good friends. A memorial service for Don will begin at 4:30 pm with calling from 2:30 pm until time of services on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Family Funeral Care.
