Donna Ann Kreisher

Donna Ann Kreisher, age 76, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Donna was born in Beech Grove, Indiana to Lois Ruth (Johnson) Wertenberger and Donald Wertenberger. Donna earned her Master's in Education from Indiana University and had a rewarding career as a first grade teacher. She was the first teacher hired at Mary Bryan Elementary. She treasured continuing to gather with her retired teachers group. Donna also enjoyed gathering with her high school graduate class group and playing cards and games with several groups of friends. Donna was a long time member of Southport Presbyterian Church and shared her faith with her family. Donna's greatest joy was helping to raise her grandchildren. Donna is survived by her sons, Don Kreisher and Robert Kreisher (Mariana Brown); her sisters, Brenda Sue Rollins and Mary Jo Flowers; her grandchildren, Monica Kreisher, Logan Kreisher, Siena Kreisher, and Ilan Kreisher; and her dear neighbors and friends, Cecilia and Tony Ray. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Kreisher; her father, Donald Wertenberger; and her mother, Lois Ruth (Johnson) Wertenberger. Visitation for Donna will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Donna will be laid to rest with her husband in Washington Park East, Indianapolis, Indiana following the service.
