Donna Susan Warwick

Donna Susan Warwick (Susan), age 86, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020. Donna was born April 20, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Pauline (Crane) Haskell and Frederick Haskell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle E. Warwick and granddaughter, Brooklyn Grace Knight. Susan will forever be remembered as a loving daughter, dedicated wife, caring mother and grandmother. She, Doyle, the children, and grandchildren spent many wonderful years at their condominium on Okaloosa Island, FL. Fishing, swimming, body surfing, crabbing, & eating the most wonderfully prepared meals of freshly caught seafood were memories made. Just prior to Doyle’s passing they relocated back to Indianapolis to be closer to family. Susan became an avid Colts fan. One not dare infringe during the Colts games. It was her time & hers alone; we suspect she did not want others to hear the language used at the TV screen. Later in life as her health declined, she became more reclusive yet welcomed the visits of immediate family. None more than her loving daughter Julie who was her stalwart 24/7 primary care taker and companion for so many years. Her grandchildren were particularly of intense interest. Susan would light up at a phone call or visit and constantly sought any news on the adventures of her “babies”. Despite her many ailments Susan was a strong fighter with the sharpest of wit to the very end and passed away peacefully in her home wrapped in her Colts blanket. Susan is survived by her children, Rick Warwick, Julie Warwick, and Scott Warwick and grandchildren, Casey Wykes, Jake Warwick Swenson, and Beck, Avery, Ricci, and Riley Warwick. Her wishes for simple private arrangements are being honored by her family.
