Doris A. Beck

84, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 30, 2014. She was born in Indianapolis the daughter of the late Preston and Vernon (Gibson) Roberts. Doris was an

advertising designer at the Indianapolis Athletic Club for 18 years, retiring in 1988. Doris and her late husband helped form and were charter members of the Hoosier Depression Glass club. Mrs. Beck volunteered at the Gleaners Food Bank, United Way and Cross Roads. Doris was active in the Indianapolis Advertising Club, Indianapolis Athletic Club, Cloth the Children and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. She is preceded in death by her husband: C. Herbert “Herb” Beck, sons: David H., Jack H. and Thomas R. Baldwin and brother: James J. Wright. She is survived by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren one great great grandchild and many friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 4, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 5, 10:00 am in the mortuary.
