She was a member of Zion Hope Baptist Church. She was in the Red Hat Society and an avid bowler.
Her husband, William Hill, mother, Carrie Brown Smith, sister, Juanita Scanlon preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Freddie E. Burrus, Wade E. Hill, daughter, Cynthia Ragland (Eddie), sisters, Bobbie L. Cooksey, Carrie Davis, Rosa Lewis, Miriam Riley, grandchildren, Elana Ragland, Erin Ragland, Alexis Burrus, Trey Burrus, Adam Burrus, great grandchild, Micah Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Her visitation will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2014, 10am- 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm. Her entombment will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery.
