Hi, Philip, Kendah and Sara!! I know heaven is rejoicing, a faithful servant has come home!! I have many treasured memories of fellowship with you all at Emmanuel Bible Church in Lafayette, Indiana! I still remember visiting with Doris at Saint Elizabeth hospital when Sara was born. She treated me like a younger sister when I lived there, I ate dinner at your house and Doris permed my hair many times. You all are in my thoughts and prayers!! I'm sending lots of your way!! I remember Mrs.white from the time I was 5 yrs old. Her kindness is something that I always remembered. She was about her business and making sure we as kids did the right thing. We use to have church in their living room. She always made sure that we were living our lives rt and not getting in trouble. She will truly be missed. Sending prayers to the whole family.

My Cousin Doris Jean had a smile as bright as the Sun. She would bring the fun with her whenever she entered into a room. She had a laugh like no one else. It was truly contagious. Whenever she laughed you laughed from just hearing her do it. She had a Christian heart and would spread the word to whoever she felt needed to hear it. She was deeply loved by her family and always a joy to be around. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. There will be a grand celebration in Heaven when she arrives because there will be so many family and friends that preceded her in death waiting to greet her with smiles, love, and open arms. Rest in Heaven my Cousin and share that beautiful smile and laughter with everyone. Heaven is blessed to have gained an Angel as sweet as you.
