To Greg and the Brassie family,

Steve and I were so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing, Greg! We’re praying for peace for you and your family and understand what you’re going through. It’s always difficult to let our loved ones go, regardless of circumstances, but we can take comfort in knowing they are resting in heaven with God and those who’ve gone before and have been missed. Keep in mind that to live in hearts left behind is to live on, Greg, as your mom will for you and your family. We’re here for you, if you need us, as you and Lisa were for us.

To the entire Brassie Family-
When we heard the news,we were incredibly saddened. We never really think that those so near and dear to us will really pass, so we know this must be especially hard on you and can't imagine what you're going through. I know your family finds strength in God's love and are all together during this difficult time. We are holding you in our thoughts and prayers.

Rest in Peace Dorothy Brassie. I will always remember you for being one of the many mothers in the neighborhood who helped raise (and put up with) all of us kids traipsing through your house and yard while we played and never complaining. Most notably, I will remember you for your profound Catholic faith and fortitude in raising your six children as a single mother, sacrificing much but still with a smile on your face and lots of love to go around. You are a special lady. Go in peace.

I met Dorothy while we were both still working and she was probably the most giving person I ever met. She always put everyone else first no matter how she felt or what she needed herself. I will miss our many chats while having coffee and the many laughs and tears we shared. My prayers go out to her entire family at this time and may you all find comfort in knowing how much she was loved.
Blessings,

Dorothy was a sweeet and loving lady who I met at our church SPRED group. She came to our meetings and events with her boys. I saw her and her family at our SPRED Christmas Party just a month ago and she was so happy. My thoughts and prayers are with David, Tom, and Bill. Your mom is in heaven with God and the angels resting comfortably in peace. God bless the rest of the family at this hard time.
Peace of Christ,
Pam Gorney

I had the pleasure of meeting Dorothy during the closure of Ft Harrison. A kind, caring woman eager to share a smile and laugh with me at events going on! Blessings to her family for their loss of their mother and grandmother.
