She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Lee Ernest Herd, sons, Isaac Sykes, Lee Cousion, Johathon Cousion, daughters, Angel Gray (Mamdou Blade), Ernestine Cousion, brothers, Willie J. Sykes, John Borders, Clyde Sykes, sisters, Maudine Harper, Amanda Skinner, Julia Watson, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and the church family of Seven Star Missionary Baptist Church.
Her visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, 10am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Seven Star Missionary Baptist Church.
Her burial will take place in New Crown Cemetery.
