94, Indianapolis IN, passed away Saturday June 13, 2009. He was a native of Muncie and a 1939 graduate of IU School of Medicine. He was decorated for bravery, service and sacrifice during WWII, afterwards joining the staff of IU School of Medicine for which he served as Assistant Dean at the time of his retirement. Known for his generosity and sense of humor, and he will be missed by his extended family to which he was strongly devoted. His sister, Becky and his wife Helen precede him in death. He is survived by his sons, David and Philip and their wives, Betty and Pam, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A funeral service for family was held Wednesday in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions should be made to Riley Children's Hospital or St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
