Earlene R. Jones

Earlene Jones (Turnley) was born in Cedar Hill, TN on June 19th, 1946, where she spent the beginning years of her life, after moving from Tennessee to Indiana she attended Shortridge High School. Earlene married and had one son William Everett Rowan Jr. Not only did she care for William, but she also went on to care for many others at Methodist Hospital of Indiana, where she worked for over 30 years. Earlene married the love of her life Roger Jones on 10/24/1992, they spent almost every day and night together for nearly 33 years. Earlene accepted Christ at an early age and loved attending The Church of The Living God, where she was a member for 35 years, she enjoyed traveling, and dancing, but most of all spending time with family and friends.

Earlene is preceded in death by her parents Andrew Lee Turnley and Maggie Lean Turnley, sister Carolyn Knox, and brothers Robert and Ronnie Turnley.

She is survived by her husband Roger Jones of Indianapolis, IN., son William Rowan (Alena) of Buckeye, AZ., grandchildren William Everett Rowan III (Bill), Taliyah Feliz Rowan, Tonya Smith, great grandchildren, Dorianna Rowan, Elisa Rowan, Wynter Rowan, Willow Rowan, Dominic Rowan, MaKyia Owens, sister Angela Bey (Lionel), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, The Grady Family and many more extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Earlene on Saturday, August 30th at 11:00 AM at Church of the Living God, 4602 N Emerson Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46226.
