She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Walter Brooks Jr, son, Walter Brooks III, daughter, Mary Wilson, brothers, Douglas Hayes, Bobby Hayes, Milton Hayes, Herbert Hayes, Larry Hayes, sisters, Sarah Starks, Shellie Evans, Martha Brown, Linda Hayes, Barbara Hayes, Doris Hayes, Juanita Hayes, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Her visitaton will take place on Friday, July 11, 2014, 9am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel. Her burial will take place in New Crown Cemetery.
