To Beth, Steve, Jeff and Mike,

I am sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I always looked up to your Dad, and to this day, still believe that he was one of the best coaches that I ever played for......including High School and College. Your Dad's support was much appreciated and will never be forgotten. Even though it has been many years since we ran the streets of Hiner Lane as kids, I still have nothing but really fond memories of our years growing up. I wish the Gaughan family nothing but the best, and I know you will do your best to continue to make your parents proud of all you do!! Much Love.

I first met Ed our Freshman year at Cathedral and was fortunate to play baseball and basketball with him for four years. I knew then we would be life long friends. Leaving the "Golden Ace" last Friday we talked for a few minutes and parted saying "see you next week". You never know when Our Lord will call you. We will all miss a wonderful person. But Marge was waiting for him. John Riddle

We lived next door to the Gaughans, and they were such a fun family to live by. I’ll never forget one day I was outside and Ed came home from work in his blue convertible with the top down and Marge was sitting on the front porch. Ed kind of gave her this sexy tiger stare crouching forward as he drove up the driveway and Marge responded with a giddy laugh and wiggle. They were a cool couple, and their whole family was great to live next to. My sympathies to all the Gaughans and thanks for many great memories ! Janet Matthews Hook

My condolences to the family. Mr. Ed was my next door neighbor - he and I shared many waves and conversations after he moved in. He talked about and was extremely proud of his family. I will miss his smiling face and kindness.
