

88, of Indianapolis, passed away March 27, 2010. He was born January 8, 1922 in Chicago the son of Teofil and Bertha Wilke Klyszewski. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII as a bombardier in B-24 Liberators in the Pacific Theater. He was awarded 1 silver and 1 bronze battle stars and was honorable discharged in December 1945. He worked at Western Electric for 33 years as an assembly line manager. He is a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and Knight of Columbus. Ed is the widow of Madeline Mary Kleese. He is survived by his sons Ed and Mike Kleese grandchildren Sarah Weddige, Emily Shell, Claire Kleese-Mencel, Julie Kleese, great grandchildren Kate Weddige, Patrick Shell, Claire Weddige, Luke Weddige, Graham Weddige and Caroline Shell. Funeral services will be Friday April 9, at 9:30 AM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, with a Mass of Christian Burial will at 10 AM at Little Flower Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday April 9 from 8:30 – 9:30 at the mortuary. Ed was a devoted husband, father grandfather and great grandfather, who loved and cherished his family above all. He always had a kind word to all, and his great sense of humor made everyone’s day a little brighter. His wonderful legacy lives on in his sons, granddaughters and great great granddaughters.
