Edward Dwight Lewis Jr., age 91, of Clayton, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Edward was born June 26, 1930 in Washington, D.C. to Edward and Lillian Lewis. Edward graduated from Avon High School and then joined the military. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years as an Army Electrical Technician. Edward worked for Sears and Roebuck for 30 years and then retired and traveled with his wife, Susan.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Susan Elizabeth Lewis; children, Michael (Delilah) Lewis, Linda (Steve) Dodson, Elizabeth Lewis and Edward (Karen) Lewis III; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, with one on the way; and siblings, Mariam Cheshire and Nancy Crawford.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, William Lewis and Richard Lewis.
Arrangements are being handled by Family Funeral Care - Rockville West. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
