His father, L.C. Stevens, mother, Mary E. Bell, daughter, Terea Stevens, brother, Willie C. Stevens preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Antwann Stevens (April), Edward Stevens, daughter, Chantel Bacon (Stuart), brothers, Willie Lee Sweat, Theodore Sweat, sisters, Mac K. Mosley, Ophelia Gladys Sweat, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. His burial will take place in Washington Park North.
