Edwina Loretta Barnett was born on December 31, 1922 in Indianapolis, IN. She was the daughter of Roy and Celia Hughes Barnett. Edwina was a devoted member of Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 91: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. "Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. Edwina is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Celia Hughes Barnett; brothers, Edgar L. Barnett, Theodare R. Barnett, Clarence E. Barnett and Donald Barnett. She leaves to cherish her memory sisters, Norma Saxton and Clara Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
